After 19 years of dedication and service in our real estate department, we celebrate with Dianne as she embarks on her well-earned retirement. Dianne has been an integral part of our team, first as a processor and later as a loan officer, always stepping up to meet the needs of the department and our customers.

Diane Roose, Sr Vice President, Residential Loans shared her gratitude for the many tasks Dianne has taken ownership of, allowing the team to trust in her expertise. She also praised Dianne’s flexibility in her roles, her commitment to the bank, and her dedication to the customers she has helped along the way.

Reflecting on her journey, Dianne shared:

"Nineteen years is a very long time. I have never regretted the decision to come back to the bank. Some days, 19 years feels like an eternity, and other days, it feels like just yesterday."

She recalled the challenges of learning the ins and outs of real estate lending, laughing about how, after just her second day, she told her husband, "I don’t know if I can do this—there’s so much to learn!" But she persevered, guided by the wisdom of her colleague Diane Wilson, who reminded her that real estate is a field where “just when you think you know it, something changes.”

Despite the challenges, Dianne found great joy in helping customers achieve homeownership, whether it was their first home or their dream home. She shared:

"The best part of this job is when you help someone get their first house or their dream house. It might have taken a while, but when they finally get there, they’re over the moon with excitement, and you know you helped them have that joy.”

The staff celebrated Dianne’s retirement with a special breakfast, reminiscing on memories, laughter, and years of teamwork. She expressed her gratitude for her colleagues, saying she will miss them dearly.

Dianne, we thank you for your years of hard work, dedication, and the impact you’ve made on our customers and team. We wish you all the best in this next chapter—we celebrate with you today!
