Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

What options do I have to add someone to my bank accounts?

You have three different ways to add someone to your account.

  1. Joint Owner: Both owners have access to the account. As an owner of the account, both owners can deposit, withdraw, or close the account.
  2. Authorized Signer: A person who has been given permission by the account's owner to access and transact on a bank account. They do not have ownership of the funds.
  3. Payable on Death: Upon death of all owners of the account, the funds would be transferred to any Payable on Death listed.
