Marion County Bank’s Board of Directors is pleased to announce that Kevin Bolt has been appointed as the new President of Marion County Bank.
Having been an integral part of the bank since 1995, Bolt brings a wealth of experience in compliance, balance sheet management, and commercial and real estate lending. His deep understanding of the bank’s operations and commitment to its mission will ensure a seamless transition. Bolt is an active community leader, serving on several school and church committees. He is currently a board member of the Pella Area Community & Economic Alliance and has been a dedicated Kiwanis board member since 1995.
Steve Kraayenbrink, who has served as President and CEO of Marion County Bank since 2010, will continue to serve as CEO. In this capacity, he will focus on mentoring bank leadership and advancing the bank’s strategic initiatives.
Reflecting on the transition, Kraayenbrink shared, “It has been an incredible honor to serve as President of Marion County Bank. I am confident that under Kevin’s leadership, the bank will continue to thrive and serve our communities well.”
Bolt expressed his enthusiasm for the new role, stating, “I am grateful for the opportunity to step into this position and build upon the strong foundation Steve has established. I look forward to working with our dedicated team to drive growth and innovation for our customers.”
Bryce Dahm, Marion County Bank’s Chairman of the Board, expressed confidence in the transition, stating, “We are excited to welcome Kevin into his new role as President. His extensive experience and leadership within Marion County Bank position him well to continue our tradition of excellence. We also extend our deepest gratitude to Steve for his 15 years of dedicated service as President and look forward to his continued contributions within the bank.”
