Join us in congratulating Kevin Bolt on 30 years with Marion County Bank!

Steve Kraayenbrink, President and CEO, asked Rob Judkins and David Greving to share a few words. Both Rob and David worked with Kevin as bank examiners before any of them worked at Marion County Bank.

Rob shared some memories of Kevin before he was hired at Marion County Bank. “I trained him as an examiner. So basically, everything he knows about banking, he learned from me,” Rob joked. “After we examined Marion County Bank, I knew that it was only a matter of time before he would be working here.”

David described Kevin as a “valuable employee, loving family man, and a good friend.” Saying it has been impressive to see Kevin model consistency in everything he does.

Steve praised Kevin as an employee, but as he concluded, he focused on Kevin the person. “We love what you have brought to the bank over the last 30 years, and we’re excited for the future, but we appreciate the example that you set as a person even more.”

Kevin looks back and is amazed to see how much 30 years has changed his own family. As his family reflected on his time at the bank they didn’t speak of positions or accomplishments. “My family said they could always count on me and my wife Kim to support them in their activities. My family knew that they were important to the bank.”

Kevin wrapped up with a thank you to the staff, both past and present. “Thanks to all of you who I have had the pleasure to work with throughout the past 30 years. God has blessed me and my family beyond measure and Marion County Bank has been a huge part of that experience.”
