Get Ready for Our First Day of School Photo Contest!

It's that time of year again—backpacks are packed, pencils are sharpened, and students are heading back to school! To celebrate this exciting season, we are thrilled to announce our First Day of School Photo Contest. We want to see your best first day snapshots, whether it’s a proud kindergartener, a confident senior, or even a college student starting a new chapter. This is your chance to show off those big smiles, new outfits, and everything that makes the first day of school so special.

How to Enter:

Participating is easy! Simply snap a picture on the first day of school and share it with us on our Marion County Bank Facebook page. 

What You Can Win:

We’re giving away a $50 prize to one lucky winner! It’s the perfect way to kick off the school year with a little extra spending money for those back-to-school necessities or just a fun treat.

Important Dates:

  • Submission Deadline: All entries must be received by 1:00pm on Friday, August 30, 2024.
  • Winner Announcement: The winner will be announced by 4:30pm on Friday, August 30, 2024.

Contest Rules:

  • One entry per person.
  • Chances of winning depend on the number of responses received.
  • You do not need to be a Marion County Bank customer to enter or win.
  • The prize must be picked up from either our Pella or Knoxville branches by Friday, September 6, 2024.
  • Please note that this giveaway is not sponsored, endorsed, administered, or associated with Facebook or Instagram.
  • Employees of Marion County Bank, their spouses, and their children are welcome to participate, but are not eligible to win.
